Youngblood

The Williamson Co. History written by Milo Erwin in 1876
states that the first murder in the county was of one James
Youngblood. I no longer have access to a copy of the book.
Would appreciate someone informing me of the date of that
murder and the circumstances of the death (I recall that it
there was only a couple of sentences). Thank you.

Meredith family

I am descended from Junior Meredith who was born in 1803 he
migrated to Williamson County possibly in the 1820's or
early 1830's. His grand daughter Susan Elizabeth Meredith
1857-1944 married my great great grandfather Alec Howerton
in 1877. Susan was supposed to have been either 1/4 or 1/2
Indian, does anyone on the list have any knowledge of the
Meredith family and their Indian connection? I would like
to communicate with anyone who has any knowledge of this
family.
