| Herrin Coal Mine Records My grandfather and greatgrandfather both worked in the Herrin coal mines for a period of time after 1910. My greatgrandfather was still living in mine housing when he died in 1927. Is it possible to access mine records for their years of service? If so, who do I contact? Butts-Gulley-Mahaffey-Smith Any information on the parents of Andrew Jackson Smith & wife Amanda C. Butts; and John Dowell Mahaffey & wife Lydia (Liddie) Smith. abt 1900-a business named "Annie Koons Art Studio" My great great grandparents were John Henry Koons and Nancy Anna (Pike) Koons. We have a lot of professionally taken photographs of this family with a photographers mark on the back that reads: Annie Koons Art Studio, Lake Creek Illinois" On the 1900 census, Henry Koons and family were listed as living in Williamson County IL, Lake Creek Township, and their occupation was listed as "photographing" for both Henry & Anna. I would like to know as much as possible about this business, and the
people who ran it - I'm trying to determine if it was indeed owned by my

Paul White JOHN NEWTON WHITE Searching for information about John Newton WHITE married in TN in 1854 to Eliza PHILIPS and may have migrated to Williamson County after that date. Arlena Deason/Vaughn I would like info on Arlena Deason Vaughn (1886-1932). She married Adolp Vaughn and they lived there in Herrin. They had two children,only one lived. Adrian Dorcey 1916.
